                        <decoNote type="overview">Very rich. 90 full-page framed miniatures forming
                            pictorial cycless corresponding to the narratives, probably the work of
                            more than one artist They are executed in many colours (blue, pink,
                            yellow, green, grey, red) within ink outlines; the backgrounds, the
                            human faces, hands and feet are left with no colour. Some show the
                            influence of folk motifs. All are of a very high standard. The
                            miniatures illustrate the text on the opposite page. The preceding recto
                            is frequently left blank, so there are many blank pages, especially
                            since the passages of text illustrated are often less than a full page
                            in length. There are coloured borders, headpieces of Barocco type, and
                            red initials with rich floral ornamentation, in some cases very large,
