In the beginning of each Gospel, there are headpieces and initials of Balkan interlaced style, all in red only. Some of them have vegetal, zoomorphic and teratomorphic motifs. Another red initial of Balkan interlaced style on f. 241r. Titles of simple vjaz, aslo in red.
