Mainly HF FH HF FH HF FH HF FH, exceptions: FH HF FH HF FH FH HF FH (gathering I), FH HF FH FH FH HF HF HF FH HF (gathering II), HF HF HF FH HF FH HF FH (gathering VI), HF FH FH FH FH HF HF FH (gathering VIII). Many conjugate pairs are in fact made up of two separate leaves of parchment. Variant of Leroy System 11 for the majority of the gatherings (the rulled sides are facing each other), the rest of the gatherings represent mixed systems, type P4 20D1. For each horizontal line in the outer leaf edges and for the vertical in the both edges.

Fair; some damage by damp to the top of ff.1–42, with some loss of text. F. 158v is blank, evidently deliberately omitted by the scribe because the ink has come through from f. 158; the text continues directly from f. 158 to f. 159.

ff. 34–34v contain 23 ll., ff. 104–107v – 25 ll., ff. 128–129 – 28 ll., ff. 140–143 – 27 ll. Black; red for initials and rubrics.

Modest.

f. 44:Band, filled in with interlaced pattern of broad strips in red and “white” on black ink background, with two primitive palmette motifs at the short sides.

Large initials:

f. 44:Red geometric initial, letter З, 20 high, without decoration. f. 75v:Red geometric initial, letter П, 20 high, with pronounced serifs on the lower line, with a vertical line of dots between the stems. f. 130v:Jointed initial of geometric type, letter И, in red and white of the parchment, 28 high.

Small initials: red, geometric initials at the readings, 7–12 high or smaller, simply decorated with a pellet and pronounced serifs.

f. 6:Interlaced initial, letter У, within the line, in the form of Solomon knot, “in negative” on red rectangular field.

19th-c., crimson velvet on thin boards (leather panel on spine), 240 160 mm. The edges of pages are gilt.

A much later hand has added copious diacritics and marginal emendations to ff. 1–8, 130v–163v. ff. 1–198v. anonymous. A small semiuncial, letters 3 , 6–7 . Another, less skilfull, scribe wrote f. 31: ll. 3 and 7.

Old Church Slavonic

One-jus (ѧ) and one-jer (ь); sporadical usage of the so-called "middle jus". Confusion of и and ы, regular initial and post-vocalic ѥ and ꙗ (see Vakareliyska 2008. In the synaxarion the Slavonic names of the months are used beside the Greek ones.

The Four Gospels, synaxarion, menology, and Paschal tables. The beginning is lost, the text commencing with Mt. 6:14. There are no prefaces or other preliminary material. Pericopes are marked in the text. The MS bears close textual reletionship to Dobreisho and Banitsa Gopels (see Vakareliyska 2008).
